Now that both events are over and honourable victors were found it is time to say a big thank you (again) to Johannes, who organized again a fabulous tournament. All went smooth as usual. I had loads of funny incidents and experiences and was glad to meet all the nice players again, who enriches our hobby so very much.
Another big thank you goes out to our french neigbors, whose loyal visits all over the past years is admirable. We'll meet at Paris, guys.
Congratulations to Hugh for his formidable win of the Draft Championship and to Alf for the win of the Qualifier (by ousting me, grrr
).
A little downer was that many german players didn't make it to Ludwigshafen. Despite the good work of the organizers the lack of players from many german cities means that our community failed to push this great game the way it deserves (that's just my point of view of course).
So don't miss the next opportunity to meet such good players like Hugh Angseesing, Vincent Ripoll, Benoit Moyen, Erol Ongün, Johannes Walch, Andreas Nusser, Ralf Lammert, Didi Range, Robert Fängler, Michael Heyder and all the others I failed to mention. You really learn from their playing styles and get many ideas for building decks. It's always a cool experience.
