Some important reminders about 2005 Continental Qualifiers:


How Many Players Qualify?
--------------------------------------

Anyone who played in the finals of a Continental Championship in 2004 is
automatically qualified in 2005.

For events outside of Australia, the rule is the same as last year:
The top 25% (round up) of the non-qualifed players at a Continental
Qualifier become qualified. For example, 35 players attend a Qualifier.
2 are already qualified. So 35 - 2 = 33. 25% of 33 = 8.25. Round up to
9. So the top 9 (not already qualified) players qualify. The players who
had already qualified before the event do not take any of the 9 slots
away from non-qualified players.

For events in Australia:
50% of the non-qualifed players (round up) up to a maximum of 10
players, qualify.
