Thanks for the nice tournament again!

A few additions to the list:

My deck was actually Hardestadt + POT/FOR/DOM friends rush, which was mostly G4/5 Ventrue + Giovanni + Lorri Dunsirn, but for some reason I only got Ventrue on the table in the second game.

Rolf was Infernal Contagion ft merged Valerius Maior I think

Jonathan played the Enkiduh/Matasuntha deck, not Josef

I think Josef played Assamites vote ft. Amarvati

Und hier die unklarereren Regelfragen, die sich während des Turniers stellten...

Interaktion von Khay'talls Special mit Velvet Tongue

http://www.vekn.net/forum/rules-questio ... 64?quote=1
Pascal Bertrand wrote:Here's the ruling:

If an effect causes a minion to be unable to cast votes or ballots during a referendum is played/used, that minion is forced to abstain, whether he or she had already cast votes or ballots.

Examples:
- Khay'Tall calls a referendum, Arika casts her votes against. Khay'Tall plays inf' Velvet's Tongue. Arika is now abstaining.

- Alexandra calls a referendum. Cao Nguyen (reacting) plays sup' Velvet's Tongue. Arika casts her votes against. Alexandra plays Scorn of Adonis. Shahara plays inf' Velvet's Tongue on Arika. Arika is now abstaining. Before results are tallied, Arika's controller doesn't burn 1 pool to Scorn because of Arika.
http://www.vekn.net/general-rulings
Casting votes and ballots:

An effect that cancels a minion's votes and/or ballots (Telepathic Vote Counting, Pulling Strings, etc.) may be played at any time during the voting process - before or after that minion casts his votes and/or ballots. [RTR 19950530] [LSJ 19990723]

Blocken mit Unleash Hell's Fury
Pascal Bertrand wrote:
Adonai wrote:How does Siren's Lure interact with a block attempt from Unleash Hell's Fury?
UHF's block attempt fails, and the modifying vampire taps.
Adonai wrote:Is UHF tapped? (notice that it can't block, which would make it cease to be a minion, before it was tapped by the SL text)
UHF isn't tapped. As soon as it ceases to block, it ceases to be "that minion".
Adonai wrote:Does it matter that UHF is tapped, i.e. can it block while tapped?
It can block while tapped: [LSJ 20100210].
Adonai wrote:What happens if UHF is tapped by Remover? Can it still block?
Yes, per the link above.

https://vtesone.wordpress.com/2014/10/2 ... -part-122/
Did you know, that … (Part 122)

...when Unleash Hell’s Fury is tapped (e.g. by using Remover on it), Unleash Hell’s Fury can still (attempt to) block? The reason for is this that Unleash Hell’s Fury is not minion in the general sense that it needs to be “ready” or “untapped” as any other minion; it just isn’t a minion. And the card text simply states, that Unleash Hell’s Fury can attempt to block and omits any statement about any requirement for that (tapped or untapped).

There are some other peculiarities about Unleash Hell’s Fury. Some are obvious, some are not so obvious, so I would like to summarize here:

Faceless Night cannot be used to tap the Unleash Hell’s Fury. When Faceless Night‘s effect would be normally applied to the minions attempting to block, Unleash Hell’s Fury is not a legal target for the card. It’s only considered a vampire when it attempts to block, not when the action is resolved.
When the acting minion is blocked, and uses Change of Target after being blocked, the acting minion untaps, but since the action was successfully blocked, the acting minion still gets two aggravated damage and the Unleash Hell’s Fury is burned.
You cannot use Rötschreck when Unleash Hell’s Fury successfully blocks, since there’s no combat, and (again) Unleash Hell’s Fury is not actually a minion when the block succeeds.
