We're in the process of compiling a spoiler list. We'll be putting it in a safe place on the WW website and preface it with spoiler warnings, etc. We're doing this to reduce the liklihood of someone accidentally coming across a spoiler that is released in a less careful manner.

We've also made a couple of additional tweaks to the rules to hedge our bets a little against people who are intent on reading the spoilers and building an anti-Nergal deck.

IMO, the people who will enjoy the events the most are the ones who don't read the spoilers and get to play in an event with other players who don't read the spoilers. As well, modifying one's own deck based on the known contents of one of the other finalists' decks doesn't take a lot of skill and should be somewhat unrewarding even if successful.

The announcement (including the updated rules) has been posted to the White Wolf V:TES site:

Nergal Deck Spoiler

Post by extrala »

http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/index.ph ... nergaldeck

!!! Bitte zweimal überlegen, ob man sich das Deck anschauen will. !!!!

Luck is not a factor.
Hope is not a strategy.
Fear is not an option.

>Argh, just make the bastard non-playable! His deck is non-playable!
>The Group 2 Baali were popular, and they get no reward!
>Barbaro worked for centuries to liberate him, and they can't work together?
>...

Not only this is not the appropriate forum for this rant, but it also shows
how much attention is paid to numbers - i.e., little.

Group 2 Baali -> 5 vampires
Group 3 Baali -> 1 vampire
Group 4 Baali -> 5 vampires
So Nergal is? Group 5, obviously.

OK, you can't reproduce this particular thread of the storyline (Barbaro
helps to free Nergal), but it's impossible to arrange things for every plot
to be "reproduceable" in this cardgame.

best,

Fabio "Sooner" Macedo
