Also Turnierbericht
War lustig. Heyder hat gewonnen. HG dazu.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Michael!

Report:
Table 1
me -> Jeroen (Assamites and friends Vote) -> Debbie (Ravnos Toolbox) -> Koen (Brujah Bruise and Bleed)
Actually I started of quite good. I was putting a lot of pressure on Jeroen early while reducing massive Presence Bleeds to 0 or 1 ... and even surviving the first rush of my pred. I finish my turn with my prey on 2 pool. Then reality kicks back in.
My hand is jammed with stealth, since i didn't get a single block attempt on any action during the entire game. Korah is hit into torpor by some Brujah Prince, Dolphin is on 1 blood and my pool is getting so low, due to my preds bleeds and votes, that i can't pay to untap Midget anymore.
I manage to hang around for a few more turns. Jeroen ousts Debbie, whose Ravnos where no match for his Assamites' stealth. Then finally Koen ousts me and takes the table, since Jeroen is out of library.
0 VP
Table 2
Ralf (Rachel Brandywine Madness Network) -> Yuri (Malk '94) -> me -> Izaak (Cel Gun Rush)
Sitting between the stealth bleeder and the Rush - Deck, great! Ugly start with the biggest cryptdraw possible.
Kite comes out in Turn 2 and is greeted with a Bums Rush. So, I don't like my odds of going forward early, espaecially since my prey is bloating up like hell from the start and never below 15 pool. Powerbase Montreal travels around the table. Dolphins Black bleeds for 4, enters torpor. All the while my preds bleeds and especially his Judgement: Camarilla Segregation eat away at my pool. Soon I'm ousted, a short time later my prey, then Ralf manages to survive the Malks, so he and Yuri each get 2 VP.
0 VP
Table 3
Hermann (Anarch Obf/Pre Bleed) -> Rene (! Ventrue Powerbleed) -> Paul (Daughters of Cacaphony) -> me
By now, I've started to think that this what you deserve to get when you're playing Stealth n' Bleed. But then I get a perfect start. Narrow Minds in the first turn.
Kite comes out followed by Persia and Midget. I start going forward form round one, since Paul has a bad start and thus seems to be no threat. I draw the Kaymakli Fragment and bring out Dolphin Black and Rodolfo. Hermann is ousted very soon after. A few turns later I've swept the table, even though i missed a Spying Mission i had in my hand, when i was deflected. But i got lucky, sometimes that's enough.
4 VP 1 GW
Just enough to reach the finals as the 5th seed.
Final
Peter (!TOR w/ OBF Vote n' Bleed) -> Jeroen -> Didi (New Tzimisce Wall) -> Ralf -> me
Good news for me, no rush-combat Deck in the Final. The bad news is, that Rachel Brandywine (9 VP 2 GW) is breathing down my neck... but thankfully she starts of very slow while I manage to put pressure on Peter starting with Midget in the 2nd turn. Tony and Dolphin hit the table and generate a lot of pool, playing Tribute to the Master three times in a row. Peter bloats like hell, getting cross-table help from Didi to pass his Votes and uses Greta to reduce my bleeds. Didi looses much pool early after Jeroen manages to pass a Parity Shift but manages to survive build back up with the help of Malgorzata's special. Jeroen who was doing quite good for himself is ousted rather surprisingly by Peter due to Palla Grande.
I draw the Kaymkli Fragments and bring out Rodolfo. After a few more turns I finally manage to oust Peter.
Now the table is quite stable, Didi is built up, with Sha Ennu, Malgorzata, Radu Bistri, a lot of permanents and a cushion of 10 pool. Ralf has Rachel (w/ Homunculus, Enkil Cog and Perfectionist) with Zoe and Victoria as sidekicks and is quite high on pool. I'm the only methuselah on the table with a GW. So I think that, since I'm on 20+ pool and am able to bloat and defend a bit, I should be able to reach the timeout. So rather then risking going forward an maybe oust Ralf in the process or loosing my Minions to aggravated damage I'm trying to keep the table stable and myself in the game.
Turns out, I'm successful, barely. I finish with 5 pool and an empty library, but also had a good last hand to defend myself one or two more turns.
Thanks to Paul and jeroen for organizing the Event. It was a blast, very kind people and a lot of good players.
